All about the MicroBiome...... get you gut healthy.

Ahhhh, pretty sights always relax me. They put me in a good mood. Sunsets, the beach, mountain views. Exploring nature is highly advised for multiple reasons, to clear your mind, to "re charge" and detach from the hectic world we are constantly surrounded by. We are told to stop and smell the flowers, which I think is simply great advice. BUT did you know you are actually benefiting from smelling the flowers? Besides the obvious of getting to experience that wonderful honeysuckle smell. Our bodies are actually benefiting from the each specific plants microbiome. Our environment is a huge implementer to our gut health. AND our gut health is vital to our overall immunity, and is the foundation for a healthy life.

The microbiome is the genetic material of all the microbes - bacteria, fungi, protozoa and viruses - that live on and inside the human body.The microbiome may weigh as much as five pounds. It plays an important role in the immune system, performing a barrier effect. A healthy and balanced gut microbiota is key to ensuring proper digestive functioning.

For years, we thought of bacteria as organisms to avoid. It turns out our bodies are already loaded with trillions of bacteria. They help digest food and play an important role in your well-being.

What Are Gut Bacteria?

Living inside of your gut are 300 to 500 different kinds of bacteria containing nearly 2 million genes. Paired with other tiny organisms like viruses and fungi, they make what’s known as the microbiota, or the microbiome. the gut microbiome is a microbial ecosystem that operates much like a microbial organ that functions to promote health and prevent disease.

Like a fingerprint, each person's microbiota is unique: The mix of bacteria in your body is different from everyone else's mix. It’s determined partly by your mother’s microbiota -- the environment that you’re exposed to at birth -- and partly from your diet and lifestyle.

(I have read a crazy article about a mummified body that anthropologist discovered, in which they researched and identified this young woman's microbiome, her gut health all from her outside environment, the fruits and vegetables she ate and everything that was the foundation of his gut health, based on her environmental properties. With this, we are able to evaluate the differences of gut health thousands of years ago compared to today)

Research suggests the gut bacteria in healthy people are different from those with certain diseases. People who are sick may have too little or too much of a certain type. Or they may lack a wide variety of bacteria. It’s thought some kinds may protect against ailments, while others may raise the risk.

This population of microorganisms and their genetic potential, or the gut microbiome, has been linked to human metabolism, intestinal homeostasis, immune development and brain processes and behavior

The gut microbiota also tunes local and systemic immune responses to confer protective immunity against pathogens while simultaneously maintaining immune tolerance

Plants Microbiome-

Microorganisms that are tightly associated with a certain plant species or genotype, independent of soil and environmental conditions, are defined as the core plant microbiome

There are many ways for plant microbes to enter the built environment; as already mentioned on pollen, seeds, fog, soil on shoes, flowers, fruits and vegetables as well as transmitted by animals and other visitors.

Members of the plant microbiome are an important source for indoor microbiomes. Both, plants from inside and outside can contribute to the micro-flora. Plant-associated bacteria could act as counterparts against pathogens within the microbial ecosystems. They stabilize the ecosystem, enhance biodiversity and avoid outbreaks of pathogens.

Empirically the positive effects of houseplants and flowers are well-known, but there is also evidence for psychological effects such as stress reduction and creative task performance In addition houseplants feature a remarkable capacity to improve indoor air quality. This melioration of indoor air is not only due to the filtering capacity of plant leaves, but also by the degrading effects of their root associated microbes

How to implement more MicroBiome in your day.

Sweat every day. Your gut bacteria operate best when you exercise regularly. That’s because regular exercise promotes biodiversity of your gut flora. Research shows that exercise actually increases the good bacteria in your gut!

Get enough sleep. Lack of sleep has been associated with obesity. Now, research shows that one of the reasons sleep deprivation causes weight gain is because it significantly changes your gut flora. In fact, after just two nights of sleep deprivation the gut flora of patients resembled those of people who are obese. Now, here’s the catch, your gut flora can affect your sleep patterns, so in order to get a good night’s sleep, you must improve your gut flora.

Get dirty. While being clean is fine, overly sterile environments don’t promote biodiversity of your gut bacteria. Go ahead and get dirty. And, skip the hand sanitizer.

Find time to de-stress. Research shows that prolonged periods of stress can impair your gut bacteria and make you susceptible to infection.

Breastfeed Your Baby. While breastfeeding can help moms lose their baby weight, this one is for your child. Babies are born with nearly sterile and bacteria-free guts. Breastfeeding your child for the first year (or as long as you can) helps to colonize your baby’s gut flora. And, your breast milk actually nourishes the bacteria to allow it to become established.

Eliminate artificial sweeteners. While the link between artificial sweeteners and weight gain is not clear, one thing research shows is that artificial sweeteners alter the gut bacteria in a way that causes glucose intolerance.

Eat the Ancient way.

Food is a fabulous way to nourish the body mind and soul. Food holds energy and when we eat that food, it only makes sense that that specific energy is that obtained by our energy. That is why it is so important to eat high vibration foods to feed energy to the body and the spirit.

Food made with loving hands and good consciousness puts feelings of love and gratitude to the souls who eat it, spreading the love and good energy throughout. Food made with love and gratitude have the highest vibrations.

The ancient way, would be dancing singing, kissing and blessing the food before it was enjoyed. When preparing the food, do it peacefully, lovingly and mindfully. Showing gratitude by giving thanks to the higher power for the nourishing and loving meal made with love and high vibration energy.

Bless each meal and feel the gratitude and love for and from your body to receive the nutrients and good energy it is about to provide.

Herbal Spices and Tea

* Try to avoid GMO, processed, microwavable, frozen fast foods. Lower the intake of alcohol sugar and meat.

The more you implement these lifestyle habits, the more consistent your energy frequency, and the more consistent your positive energy, the more you amplify what you project, and as long as you stay in this grateful, positive mind set, watch out world. Get ready for the ride because it is about to take on full speed.....embrace it with love.
