Now is the time to boost our immunity....

Elderberry (Sambuca)

I truly love every single part of this plant. The Elderberry flower and the Elderberry fruit itself has an amazing amount of antioxidants and vitamins to boost our immune systems. The properties of the plant are known to help ease cold and flu symptoms.

The natural sweet flavor makes for a wonderful throat/cough syrup. Whether you need help clearing up a sore throat, a cough, cold, bronchitis, or any other issue that affects your respiratory system, elderberry syrup is your best choice.

Like many cough syrups, elderberry syrup contains active ingredients that can soothe inflammation and irritation as well as discarding phlegm and relieving nasal congestion.

For right now, my favorite benefit from Elderberry has certain antibacterial and anti-infectious qualities to help prevent the body from succumbing to any “bug” going around.

So, do yourself a favor. Pick up some elderberry supplements or if you are interested in a DIY, see below.

Elderberry Tea

Order online or visit a local tea shop and get organic elderberry flowers.

Steep as a tea and drink.

I like to add CBD honey or Eucalyptus honey in mine.

Elderberry Syrup

Don’t wait until you need the syrup to prepare it, it can take anywhere from 2-4 months for it to properly steep.

Make now and have on hand for when in need.

Material needed:

Organic Elderberries ( At least 2 cups)

Mason Jar

Vegetable Glycerin

Directions:

Fill mason jar half way with elderberries and fill the rest up with vegetable glycerin. Seal up really well as you will be storing in a dark cool place for at least a month and a half. Check on it in about a month and see how the elderberries have steeped into a dark thick syrup.

Use when needed to help clear up a sore throat, a cough, cold, bronchitis, or any other issue that affects your respiratory system, this natura

l elderberry syrup is your best assistant to your recovery.
