“Been here for awhile Heartbeat, Headstone Even ‘gainst tile, As you’re seeing monochrome. I feel it through my fingers Electric Shocks, through skin and bones Down my spine it tingles And I float Float And I float Float Inhales deepen And I’m lingering like smoke Trailing out I’m seepin’…out Chasing the wind blows Conscience shifted, feet are liftin’ up I…I And I float Hanging from my shoulders Swingin’ like a metronome Sinkin’ to a rythme Breathing in Stereos Like punching under water Reaching out in slow motion Crestin’ and breakin’, oxygen oceans And I float Float And I float Float Inhales deepen And I’m lingering like smoke Trailing out I’m seepin’…out Chasing the wind blows Conscience shifted, feet are liftin’ up I…I And I float DUST…settlement, Settle inInhales deepen And I’m lingering like smoke Trailing out I’m seepin’…out Chasing the wind blows Conscience shifted, feet are liftin’ up I…I And I float.”

FLOAT – BY FTSE, FT.KENZIE MAY,

This song painted my soul- beautifully said. I hold this song close to my heart.

Inversions, said to expand your life time.  Encouraging your body to cleanse impurities. Give your heart a rest, improve circulation, helps create a humbling ambiance. Stimulate your lymphatic system while strengthening, firming and calming the nervous system. Create more space within your own body and a mind of clarity with one inversion a day.

Since my first headstand, I found myself flipping upside down when ever I could. Mostly at my families houses or at work. They may think I am practising my yoga. But in fact, I am calming my nervous system down. It feels so freeing to me, to simply float.

Inversions just make you feel better. It's simple. When I started researching I was shocked, but then understanding of why I couldn’t stop once I started inversions. It’s like my body has been craving this and can not get enough! Weather your experienced yogi, or just a beginner. You can take full advantage of the inversion benefits.

You do not have to be in a full handstand to get the benefits of the pose! You can use a wall or whatever props make it easy and possible for you to get into an inversion. Take it slow. Nothing good comes easy, so slowly you can build your strength and start experimenting! Yoga is not about the pose, it is about how you get there. Iwth each breath and movement with your body. Make sure to stay connected and do this for the journey and not the end "pose" result. Each day you will slowly grow deeper into each practice you devote yourself to. Thats the beautiful thing about yoga, its an everlasting evolving practice. You can continue to grow and learn about yourself and your body, mind and spirit.

Your body doesn’t benefit if you push your limits past 80%. Your muscles will then start to protect themselves and your body will not receive the benefits of the pose.

Make yourself a reishi tea, put on some classical tunes (I like to avoid songs with words in deep practices. it clears the mind of words and thoughts, just increasing your flow. Give yourself a little aromatherapy treatment to enhance your enlightenment- my favorite is Lavender.
